The survey in the Winter newsletter was ‘How green are you?’. And the answer is that ALL the respondents stated they considered wildlife before using chemicals or burning rubbish on their plot. Here are the results…
The majority of respondents will use chemicals after considering all other alternatives. The second biggest category never do anything harmful and only use natural defences. Maybe that would be a good subject for a future newsletter article… using natural remedies for vegetable problems. Any takers?
The Spring 2011 newsletter survey is all about how comfortable you are in using a computer. Why ask that? Well, this newsletter is on-line for a start. The very first survey asked which newsletter version members preferred and the vote was very much in favour of the on-line edition. But wouldn’t it be a good idea to just check how far we can go with the new version? For example, this edition includes a video… do all members know how to watch an on-line video? Can we include podcasts in future editions? Please respond to the survey on the right by just clicking against whichever choice most describes you. All surveys are anonymous.
Finally, thinking a little ahead for those of you who bought seeds through the HRAA Kings Seeds scheme, don’t forget to keep a check on how successfully the seeds propagate. We’ll be running a survey in the Autumn newsletter to check how well their seeds performed.
